Amen to that! Good news is that David and I had a good conversation this morning, my wall is now at the height I want, and more dirt is coming in. Best of all, I've learned a valuable lesson in the process!

I have worked in an office of 12 and in an office of 200. Communication seems so simple, yet is often so hard or at least overlooked. It is amazing how much smoother things run with a little communication.

Did you specify things like height and length in the contract? If so, there should be no problem with having those things fixed. And if your contract was vague, it's still no excuse for the work to be anything less than exactly what you want. Just be sure to tell him as soon as possible. Waiting will only cause you to worry more. :)
