GT Tested Reader Survey Award Celebration
Thursday, January 15th, 2009Tonight is our Annual GT Tested Awards cocktail party! This year, we are presenting the awards at The Hotel Bel-Air, a GT favorite. I enjoyed our awards luncheon last year at the Essex House in New York, but I am also looking forward to celebrating the GT Tested Awards with our friends on the West Coast.
Last year’s awards luncheon marked the beginning of my employment with Global Traveler. This will always be a memorable event for me as our award ceremonies truly show how recognized we are in the travel industry. As Fran stated in his blog, guests fly from all corners of the world to attend this special event.
There are so many things to celebrate: Another successful GT Tested survey voted on by our loyal subscribers, a fifth year in publishing with the magazine and reuniting with our West Coast colleagues — all reasons worthy of raising a glass!
As I write this, I am enjoying my London Suite at The London West Hollywood. My balcony faces southwest and opens to a nice city view where I can watch the sunset. This is my first time staying at The London, and I have had a pleasant stay here thus far.
